Supreme Court Sundays
Every Sunday we will take a look at the Supreme Court; profiling justices, landmark cases, or activism in the courts laying the groundwork for how we have arrived at our current situation.
The Supreme Court of the United States is one of the three branches of our government. It was made to be the weakest of our three branches. There to uphold the law and play its part of lookout over the other branches.
The founders made the judicial branch the weakest for the fear of activism in the courts. Unfortunately, we have had a steady dose of this over the last century or so.
Today is more of a basic overlook to begin so there is a basic understanding of the courts and who is in it and also who they were appointed by.
